Students who take advantage of short-term study abroad courses with the Carter School will earn credit toward their degrees while applying their foundational knowledge and emerging conflict analysis and resolution skills to international contexts.
Designed to fit into the busy schedules of both full-time students and working professionals, these programs take place over the spring, winter, and summer breaks. During these courses, students work closely with faculty in the field to connect with communities and organizations that are working to address conflict.
Mason has suspended all university-sponsored or university-related domestic and international travel for students, faculty and staff until further notice.
The Global Education Office (GEO) will work directly with affected study-abroad students to provide information and address questions. The office is also working to refund program fees for committed students on all spring programs that are suspended. For group flights (purchased through GEO), all tickets were cancelled. You will receive the cost of the ticket in your refund.
